Suicide-ness

f***ing scary. let’s get real.

If you are in crisis or think you may have an emergency, call your doctor or 911 immediately. If you’re having suicidal thoughts, call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, a free, 24-hour hotline, at 1.800.273.TALK (8255). You will talk to a skilled, trained counselor. If you are located outside the United States, call your local emergency line immediately.

My beliefs.

  1. You should not be living alone

  2. You should not be living with people who cannot empathize

  3. Find a life raft and hold on

  4. You cannot stay in the hole. You have to find the smallest step you can take and take it. Don’t focus on tomorrow. Focus on today. What’s the smallest thing you can do. You must have a helper. You cannot do this alone.

Potential Life Rafts.

Reasons to Stay Alive by Matt Haig. One man’s story of surviving. It helped me so much during my darkest period.

Find one person who can be there for you every. single. day.

“Your life can always take a different path and direction”. Okay, but how? What path? I can’t even see a life I want. And even if I could- Who’s going to help me? That’s the problem. You cannot see the way out. This is what most people don’t understand.

Another reason suicide seems like the only way: ‘how can I not go to work? People are relying on me. People will judge me. I should be able to work. Just go. Why can’t I?? I’m broken. I’ll never be a functioning member of society.’ And boom. Just like that. You think leaving is the only answer.

Or maybe this… ‘I can’t ask them for help again. They’ve already helped me and I’m right back where I started. They have their own lives. Busy, full, happy. I’m a downer. A burden. A failure’. And boom. Just like that. You think leaving is the only answer.
