Listen & Talk to yourself
Listen (haha), we all have doubts and criticisms of ourselves. Some of it’s normal- I mean you don’t want to be some arrogant person walking around. It becomes a problem though when the doubts and criticisms get stuck on repeat, auto-play, the volume turned up so loud that nothing else gets in. Begin to fix this by just listening - cause you might not even be aware anymore - and then talk to yourself, in the moment.
How exactly?
Well, this is really strange, but it works. When you hear yourself say something like “ugh, I’m so stupid” - in the moment counter it with something like “no you’re not. you’re just learning. this is totally normal.”
